Don't we just wish we could be like kids again? When life wasn't so complicated and all we had to do was sit there and receive love. Now that I am older, I realize that nothing has changed. I am still loved. But now, I realize that I can also show my love. I am more able to choose to love.

Life isn't perfect. But it is still worth waking up to with a smile especially if you're surrounded by blessings.

I am just like everyone else.

We never quite learn of the profound impact we may have in touching other people’s lives. We cannot quite tell what a simple smile, a handshake, a hug or a kiss can do. But circumstances sometimes make us realize the magnitude of what our simple gestures make.

 

We can’t help but be thankful for knowing and being shown what love is. We are even more grateful for being blessed with the sense of  knowing how to share it because it could not be contained. I speak not just of love in the romantic sense, but love in all aspects that the word connotes.

i know that you'll probably never get to read this. but just in case you get to chance upon it. this isn't really anything profound. just a little something i've realized.

thank you for all the times you've shown me how much you love me ...

thank you for making me feel like i was the only person in the world who mattered ...

thank you for all the times you've made me smile ...

thank you for trying ...

thank you for letting me cry the tears i've cried ...

thank you for the lessons that came with it ...

but most of all thank you for keeping it real ...

we both know that things won't work out because we're different. but maybe what makes me not bitter about it was the fact that you were always honest. that we were always honest.

i know that all you want me to be is happy and i hope that you will be too. i will. i'll make sure that the next someone who comes along will surely make me smile and i hope that when that someone's with me, he'll be smiling too.

cavorting with hollow antiquities (read: the past) is futile.

we cannot be bound by tears that have long dried up. we cannot live in the shadows. we cannot jeopardize the lives we now live with what has been. we cannot be unfair.

there is only one thing to be done ... to live ... in the purest, undistilled sense that the word means.

My indecision is causing me unnecessary thoughts and feelings.

Whether i would be saying no and stopping or giving a yes and continuing, an answer has to be made sooner than later.

When you look up to the sky and see that the moon is not there, don't be alarmed. There is only one sky after all. It might just be cloudy from your vision or you didn't try looking hard enough or the moon is in someone else's view of the sky.
